Play Tips:

• Show baby how to put the bugs in the jar, first with the lid off.  Then, show baby how to take them out and how to dump them.  Next, put the lid on and show baby how to drop the bugs through the slots in the lid.
• Play hide and seek by covering a bug with the net.  Encourage baby to look for the bug.
• Show baby how the firefly lights up when it is dropped into the jar
• Help baby learn to use the net to scoop up the bugs and drop them into the jar.
• Teach baby to match up the three pairs of bugs.  You can even teach baby about numbers by counting the bugs as you drop them into the jar.
